The Golden Rule of Infinity Fusions
Internal Math
Head yields 66% (2/3) of its Attack, Special Attack, and Speed.
A Pokémon like Ninjask or Alakazam should act as the Head whenever possible to ensure the resulting fusion retains their blazing fast Speed and damage output.
Internal Math
Body yields 66% (2/3) of its HP, Defense, and Special Defense.
A Pokémon like Blissey, Snorlax, or Shuckle should act as the Body whenever possible to pass down their massive HP or defensive bulk to the final sprite.
Min-Maxing Your Fusions
When playing Pokémon Infinite Fusion, the decision of which Pokémon acts as the Head and which acts as the Body is the single most important tactical choice you can make. The Fusion Calculator proves that swapping positions can shift your total Base Stat Total (BST) by over 50 points depending on the spread.
The Blissey Problem
Consider fusing Blissey (Base 255 HP, Base 10 Attack) with Machamp (Base 90 HP, Base 130 Attack).
Variant A (Bad): Blissey Head / Machamp BodyHP = 145 (Machamp body lowers the HP)Atk = 50 (Blissey head lowers the Atk)Variant B (Perfect): Machamp Head / Blissey BodyHP = 200 (Blissey body preserves massive HP)Atk = 90 (Machamp head preserves damage)As seen above, Variant B is vastly superior simply because the stats align with the game's mathematical weighting system!
