The tool first builds a gross annual figure. Monthly inputs are multiplied by twelve. It then divides that annual amount by either 2,080 or by the product of hours per week and weeks per year, depending on the mode you choose. The quotient is the implied gross hourly rate. Monthly, weekly, and biweekly figures are derived from the same normalized annual base using ÷12, ÷52, and ÷26 for apples-to-apples comparisons across pay cycles—not an employer’s exact paystub engine.
