Free timber building planner for stacked wall logs: enter a rectangular footprint, the face height each course adds, then either total wall height or an exact course count. We multiply perimeter by courses, add wastage, and optionally multiply by a rough price per linear foot for a budget sense-check.

Vertical rise contributed by one full course (log profile).
Courses = ceil(wall height in inches ÷ face height per log).
Optional rough budget; use 0 to hide cost.

Rough total linear feet of wall log stock: perimeter × courses × (1 + wastage). Corners, doors, gables, and roof systems need extra material not modeled here—confirm with your plan and supplier.

We compute perimeter as twice the sum of footprint length and width. If you choose wall height mode, courses equal the ceiling of total wall height in inches divided by face height per log. If you enter courses directly, we use your integer count. Total linear feet equals perimeter times courses, scaled by (1 + wastage%). Optional cost multiplies that length by your dollars per linear foot for wall log stock.
